Introduction

Abundance is...

a way of seeing, a method of thinking,
a form of emoting and a manner of intuiting

...so is scarcity.

Reconstruction

It is time to build a form of economics centered on abundance because all of life is predicated on abundance.
Before we create the new economics, we need to collectively understand what abundance means...
This book is a starting point in this
reconstruction process.
WHAT IS... ?
Abundance is a way of seeing, a method of thinking, a form of emoting and a manner of intuiting.
So is scarcity.
SCARCITY
Since we generally know what we lack, scarcity is easy to identify. Scarcity is established by examining the relationship between what exists and what we think we need.

This is concrete and easy to verify.
ABUNDANCE
Abundance is established by examining the relationship between what exists and the untapped possibilities waiting to be activated. This moves the emphasis from the existent to the emergent.

This is tougher to assess as it involves accessing the unseen, imagining what could be, or releasing what has yet to manifest.
ARCHITECTURE OF THE BOOK
This book has two major structures. The first is conceptual (domains) and the second is the design of chapters.
DOMAINS
I discuss abundance in terms of three domains or dimensions, which is how physicists and geologists respectively describe the universe and the earth.
DESIGN OF CHAPTERS
Each chapter is divided into 3 sections.
